Sigtunahöjden Hotell och Konferens AB, organization number 559039-2279, is responsible for the processing of your personal data on this website (www.sigtunahojden.se) and in all our services. Information on how to contact us can be found in section 11 of this policy, as well as on our website.
3. When do we collect your personal information?
– When you book a conference or hotel room with us
– When you ask for a quote from us
– When you book a table in our restaurant or order catering from us
– When you book time in our spa
– When you become employed with us
– When you fill in that you want to subscribe to our newsletter
– When you fill in forms to download guides and checklists from our website or from LinkedIn
– When you chat with us on our website
You can provide us with information about you, but we can also receive such information from our partners or via booking managers at your company, organization or via other outsiders in connection with booking conferences, accommodation or events with us. We then assess that in order to fulfil our part of our agreement, we may process certain personal data without obtaining your express consent.
Where practically reasonable or where required by applicable law, we obtain your consent before we collect or use your personal information. The request for your consent must be clear and specific and provide you with a reasonable basis for you to be able to make your decision. We never take your consent for granted, but make sure that you can actively consent in a clear and unambiguous way. Consent is voluntary, and your consent can always be withdrawn.
4. What information do we collect?
The personal information that Sigtunahöjden may primarily collect is such information that you, or someone who books on your behalf, indicates when booking a conference, hotel accommodation, weekend or restaurant visit with us. The information we collect in such cases is primarily information about names and contact information such as telephone number and e-mail address and, where applicable, employer and billing address. Where applicable, we also collect information on special diets or special requests in connection with various disabilities.
As far as our employees are concerned, we collect all necessary information to meet our legal requirements as an employer.
All processing of your personal data takes place only for the purposes stated in the collection, and we will only process the personal data that is relevant and necessary in relation to the purpose for which they have been collected.
We are particularly careful if and when we collect and process sensitive personal data in accordance with the requirements of applicable law.
We save the information for as long as it is necessary to perform a service for which you have requested or for which you have given us your consent. We may save the data longer if we have to by law or to protect our legal interests.
5. What do we use the data for?
We use the personal information you provide primarily to provide ordered services with us, but the information may also be used for information and marketing purposes.
Sigtunahöjden collects personal data for the purpose of
1. provide and administer conference, hotel, spa and restaurant bookings at our facility
2. be able to contact you in case of problems with a booking or provide information that connects to your booking before, during and after your stay
3. market services and events with us
When you apply for vacancies, we use your personal information only for the purpose for which you provided it. We may save interesting applications even after the recruitment period is over.
6. Who do we give the information to?
Sigtunahöjden will not sell, rent or lease the personal data collected. For newsletters and other mailings, we always use technology that does not show addresses to other recipients.
Sigtunahöjden may use subcontractors and data may therefore be transferred to these subcontractors. Our subcontractors process your personal data only on our behalf, in accordance with our instructions and only after they have signed a personal data assistant agreement.
Sigtunahöjden may disclose personal data to third parties, such as e.g. police or other authority, if it concerns the investigation of crime or if Sigtunahöjden is otherwise obliged to disclose such information on the basis of law or authority decision.
Sigtunahöjden will not transfer information to countries outside the EU / EEA without you being informed of this and, where applicable, given the opportunity to consent to such disclosure. However, personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the EU / EEA by a subcontractor. In such situations, Sigtunahöjden takes organizational and technical security measures to ensure that personal data is handled securely and with an adequate level of protection comparable to and at the same level as the protection offered within the EU / EEA.
7. How long do we save your data?
We only retain your personal information for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes stated in the collection. This means that we retain the information for as long as the customer relationship lasts or until you withdraw your consent. If you have withdrawn your consent, we may still retain certain information for the time required for us to fulfill our legal obligations. If we have not received your consent to the processing, the information is retained only to the extent we are allowed to do so by law.
8. Links to external sites
Sigtunahöjden’s website may contain links to websites operated or owned by someone other than us. Sigtunahöjden is not responsible for the processing of your personal data that takes place on these websites.
10. Right to request information and corrections
If your personal information changes, please inform Sigtunahöjden about this by sending a message to the address stated in point 11.
You have the right to receive an extract free of charge showing which of your personal data is processed by Sigtunahöjden. Requests for extracts must be made in writing to the address stated in item 11 and must be signed by you and contain information about your name, postal address, telephone number and e-mail address (used in communication with Sigtunahöjden). The extract is sent to your population registration address within one month of the application being received by us.
You also have the right to request that we delete or correct information related to you. If you believe that Sigtunahöjden’s processing of your personal data takes place in an incorrect manner, you have the right to request a limitation of the processing. You can revoke your consent to further processing (not retroactively) of your personal data at any time by contacting us at the address stated in point 11.
