The location close to nature, with the forest just around the corner and a view of Lake Mälaren, contributes greatly to the focus and success of Restaurant Skog. Our renowned kitchen with award-winning chefs, together with a committed dining team, offers a sustainable restaurant concept with nature in focus.
A shared commitment and interest is the basis for creating an experience where food and drinks are combined in a seasonally inspired menu with that special “wow” factor. We work actively to keep food waste down together with our guests. We prefer eco-labeled and locally produced ingredients, preferably from farms in Roslagen and Uppland.
The dining room can accommodate up to 200 people with the help of different furnishings and the Orangery can accommodate a total of 45 guests. With a panoramic view of the forest and lake, it will be easy to breathe and even the interior matches the colors of nature.
Together with Lisen Sundgren, famous food profile and forager, we have explored what plants and the environment in the surroundings can offer. This is noticeable in our seasonal menus where spruce, eggs and sorrels are examples of what can be included in the dishes served. It is also reflected in the drinks of the bar and in fresh outdoor activities.
– “We want to contribute to being an exciting food destination that attracts more people to find their way here and explore our sustainable restaurant concept. We want to contribute to a sustainable future and the attractiveness of the destination”, greets the team in the kitchen and dining room./greets the team of Restaurant Skog.
