The close-to-nature setting, with the forest right outside the door and panoramic views of Lake Mälaren, plays a key role in the vision and success of Restaurant Skog. Our well-renowned kitchen, led by award-winning chefs, together with a dedicated front-of-house team, offers a sustainable restaurant concept with nature at its heart.
A shared passion and commitment form the foundation of an experience where food and drink come together in a seasonally inspired menu with true wow factor. We actively work to reduce food waste together with our guests and prioritize eco-labeled and locally sourced ingredients, preferably from farms in Roslagen and Uppland.
The dining room can accommodate up to 200 guests in various seating arrangements, while the Orangerie offers space for up to 45 guests. With sweeping views of forest and lake, it’s easy to breathe deeply, and the interior design reflects the natural color palette of the surrounding landscape.
Together with Lisen Sundgren, a well-known culinary profile and forager, we have explored what the local plants and environment have to offer. This exploration is reflected in our seasonal menus, where ingredients such as spruce, bird cherry, and wood sorrel may appear in the dishes we serve. It is also echoed in the bar’s cocktails and in refreshing outdoor activities.
